New York Revels’ Manhattan Address Finder

To find the Street from the number and the avenue:
The streetfinder will find approximate cross streets in Manhattan, given a certain address for an avenue. It generally covers the numbered streets above Houston Street in Greenwich Village all the way up to 224th Street in Inwood. It's based on an old algorithm.

To find the Avenue from the number and the street:
To find the avenue for the cross-town street address is easy. Consult the table below for the street’s address number to find its corresponding avenue.

West Side
Above 59th Street:
  1 -    99........Central Park West & Columbus Ave.
100 - 199........Columbus Ave & Amsterdam Ave.
200 - 299........Amsterdam Ave  & West End Ave.
300 - 399........West End Ave & Riverside Dr.

Below 59th Street

Finding the street from a number and avenue:

To find the approximate cross street,
take the address number and divide by 20;
then add (or subtract) the magic number from 
the following table. (For example, 660 Madison Avenue 
would be 660/20=33 plus the Madison Avenue index from 
the table below (+27), 33+27=60th Street)
