2007 Christmas Revels Celebrates
Scandinavian & Northlands Traditions
The Christmas Revels, a celebration of the Winter Solstice,
journeys to the Northlands the region stretching from Iceland, across
Scandinavia, to Karelia in Northwest Russia. Gather with us around
a roaring Yule log fire, hear the poetry of the mysterious
Kalevala legend,
see the magical dancing of Norway, Sweden and Finland, and
sing with us to welcome back the sun after the longest night of
winter!
