Obituaries

A member of the  Christmas Revels chorus for many years at the 
Symphony Space, one of the founding members of The New Yiddish Chorale, 
a long time member of the Workman's Circle chorus before that, a long time 
participant at Klezkamp, and wherever there was Yiddish music, has passed away. 
He was 89 years old.  The funeral was July 27th, 2007,  at the Plaza Funeral Chapel 
at 91st and Amsterdam.

Abe was a beautiful man, inside and out — and a devoted Yiddishist and humanist.  
We will all miss him.
