There are no scheduled auditions for 2011.

Auditioning is easy fun and rewarding way to get involved in the Revels as a singer/performer or a volunteer.

Auditions for the Christmas Revels chorus are held in September each year.  Sight reading skills are not required, however you must be able to carry a part against other singers while moving and acting on stage. Plan on no more than 5 minutes to strut your stuff.  Prepare an a cappella piece- folk song, early music, Handel, Purcell, for instance, or traditional musical theater. If you are interested in an acting role, prepare a one minute monologue and/or be ready to do a "cold reading."

Audition Prep
Come prepared to sing a song of your choice a cappella. Choose a folksong, hymn, show tune or any other song you are comfortable singing.  If you wish to audition for an acting role, you will be asked to read a passage from the script. Children are welcome to sing any children's song they wish.
